It is a method which helps repair, add form, add structure and improve the aspect of your eyebrow. This procedure is ideal for people who want to improve the characteristics of the eyebrow, regardless of the amount of natural eyebrow hair. This procedure is great for people who suffer of alopecia, tricolomania or any other condition that may affect the growth of natural eyebrow hair. The results are natural and don’t look like a tattoo. Microblading is sometimes considered a type of permanent makeup; however, its concept is different: the pigment is inserted with a blade 3 times thinner than normal needles and it permits to draw eyebrow hair very thin and natural. It’s a manual method, therefore I do not utilize a machine. The results tend to last 1 to 2 years (it doesn’t substitute makeup).
No. Definitely not. The work involved in your eyebrow is only performed on the skin surface. Microblading will be a MUCH SAFER treatment than eyebrow tattoos. This technique deposits colored pigments in the upper layers of the dermis. The color can also be adjusted in alignment with the original eyebrow hair color, which results to a realistic look and feel. It is a method whereby colors are inserted to the upper layers of the skin where it lasts only 1-2 years depending on the skin retention of colors.
PLEASE READ!
Is very important to refrain from all alcohol, aspirin, or aspirin products, such as blood thinners.
Please refrain from Ibuprofen and Aleve for 24 hours prior to your appointment.
The only product for aches and pain that will not make you bleed is Tylenol.
Also refrain from Vitamin E and fish oil capsules for 7 days prior to your application.
ALL of these make you bleed excessively. Excessive bleeding during the procedure will negatively affect the longevity of your semi-permanent makeup application. In some cases, the application will need to be prematurely stopped.
Please avoid energy drinks & coffee for up to 24 hours prior to your appointment. Not having caffeine in your system will help you to relax much more easily, as well as help to relax the facial muscles in the areas we will be working on.
If you are pregnant, plan on getting pregnant in the near future or breastfeeding.
If you are unable or do not intend to come back for your followup session and any additional touchups necessary
If you have any condition that compromises your immune system, and are not able to take antibiotics in the event of an infection
If your skin is highly compromised (i.e. very thin/fragile & irritated, recently sunburned, or displaying symptoms of some kind of reaction/irritation/outbreak)
If you are unable to or do not intend to read/follow the Pre/Post Procedures & Care
If you are under 18 years of age.
I recommend to schedule it the day of your appointment to save a spot (touch up should be done within week 6-8 after first session). Appointments that occur after 8 weeks will be subjected to an increase in price. We do not guarantee availability. It’s up to you to make sure you’re scheduling your followup and additional touchups ahead of time as instructed. Arriving to your initial session having not scheduled your followup is against our recommendations.
No! I will give you an aftercare bag that has all of the supplies and instructions you need for the healing process.
If you normally fill in your eyebrows, please come to your appointment with them filled in. I want to take your preferences into consideration when deciding on a shape that you will be comfortable with. Avoid taking any blood thinning medications the day of. This includes Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Vitamin E, Niacin, and fish oil supplements.
DO NOT DRINK ANY CAFFEINE(INCLUDING DECAF TEA/COFFEE) THE MORNING OF YOUR APPOINTMENT!
The appointment is 2 and half hours. When you arrive, we discuss any questions or concerns, as well as any preferences you have regarding the final outcome. Then, I will draw an outline that will be my guide during the procedure to stay within, you will also have the opportunity to request any changes to the stencil to meet your preferences. The color we will use is intended to heal to match the color of any existing brow hair, so there's a seamless blend between the tattooed strokes and your existing brows. The tattooing itself usually takes around an hour and half, but I recommend allowing for a full 3 hours to complete the procedure
Please do not use any make up. I want to ensure that your face is clean and bacteria free to minimize the risk of infection. Arriving to your appointment with a full face of makeup only increases that risk.
Everyone is different, with varying degrees of pain tolerance. But it would be misleading to say that you won't experience any pain. It's a cosmetic micro pigmentation, and I'm cutting/scratching the ink into your skin. However, I will be using a topical local anesthetic before the procedure. After the first pass I add additional numbing agents that can then more easily absorb into your skin and take full effect.
YES! I'm not going to give you pencil thin, super arched brows if you don't want them. Or big bushy brows either. My goal is to achieve the most natural looking shape for when you have no makeup on. But at the same time, a shape that you can easily add a little brow makeup to pump up the volume. I try to work with the direction and shape of any existing hairs as this keeps your brows looking natural and also makes for easier maintenance year-round.
YES! If you have a shape or color in mind, please bring in a few photos so I know that we're on the same page. However, I want to give you the most flattering brows for your face. So please keep in mind that the results may not match the photo.
You can pay using cash, PayPal, Venmo and Debit/credit card.
Yes. You should have no visibility issues driving home from the appointment.
Immediately after the procedure is how you can anticipate the healed result to look. In the hours following the appointment, your brows will darken noticeably and the hair strokes will appear much thicker than initially due to swelling. This will cause the brows to look incredibly dark, much larger, and misshapen 1-2 weeks after the procedure. The appearance of much darker brows is due to the pigment oxidizing as each hair stoke is essentially an open wound. They will lighten by 40-60% and the strokes will appear thinner 1-2 weeks after, and they will continue to lighten through the 4 weeks following the appointment. Please consider the timing of your appointment in relation to any upcoming events. You are likely going to have more intense looking brows for the first two weeks of healing.
skin quality
post-treatment care
exposure to various external influences.
None of these factors are under my control, thus providing any guarantee for the treatment is not possible.
DAY 1: Please wash hands with antibacterial soap before you wash your eyebrows. Then wash
your eyebrows EVERY 3 Hours very well with a gentle cleanser and lukewarm water!
Pat dry with a tissue than apply a very thin layer of the Ointment.
DAY 2-7: Keep eyebrows lightly glossed with the Ointment for three to four times a day for
the next 7 days. Do not over use ointment. It should last you for 7 days, only apply very thin layer. Do not suffocate your eyebrows.
1. Do not use any Retin-A, Glycolic Acids, Peroxide, Neosporin while healing
2. Do not scrub or pick your eyebrows.
3. Do not expose area to sun or tanning beds! Must use hat if in the sun.
4. Avoid any facials ,swimming, whirlpools or sauna for 7 days.
5. Do not exercise the first 3-5 days. No heavy sweating !
6. No make-up on the eyebrows!
7. Do not tint eyebrows for the next 10 days.
FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS MAY RESULT IN LOSS OF PIGMENTS
1. Slight swelling, thickness, and/or redness for one or two days following the procedure.
2. It is normal to lose approximately 1/3 of the color during the healing process.
3. After the initial procedure, the color may be a shade too dark; in six days it will appear to light after 10 days the color will show more.
4. It will appear softer when completely healed because the color will come from dermal layer of the skin to the epidermal layer of the skin.
5. Please be patient. Healing takes up to 30 days. In your next appointment more hairs can be added and make them perfect.
The brows are approximately 20 to 25% darker and bolder in the width than they will be when healed. Your skin is red under the pigment which causes the color of the pigment to appear darker. There is some swelling, although difficult to actually see due to the thickness of the skin in the eyebrow area. This will subside. Exfoliation, which begins in a few days, will cause the excess pigment surrounding the eyebrow procedure to flake away and a narrower appearance of your eyebrows. Don’t be concerned that your eyebrows initially appear darker and heavier in size then you desire. This is all part of the process.
If possible, I would refrain from any physical activity that causes heavy sweating for the first week and half. That means no hot yoga, long showers, baths, steam rooms, saunas, hot tubs, or heavy cardio. Remove the ointment immediately after working out and reapply a new thin layer.
For the first 2 weeks no brow makeup, but everywhere else is fine. Please use caution when applying other makeup, and refrain from getting it close to the brows. Treat your brows like an open wound. Would you put foundation right up to the edge of an open wound? No!
Again, everyone is different. Some people retain the pigment better than others. Duration is dependent on a number of factors (i.e. lifestyle, hygiene, sun exposure, etc). Some people decide to freshen their brows after just 6 months, however pigment is still slightly visible up to 3 years with no touchups. Touchups are necessary roughly 9 months to a year after your last session with us. However, if you decide to no longer continue maintaining your brow PMU, it will take roughly 3 years to fade completely.
If you want beautiful end results, then yes. Touch up is highly recommend as we won't know exactly how you're going to heal. Some people end up with small patches where the pigment didn't take properly. If you want the final result to be perfect then trust me, book your followup appointment!
Your followup appointment should be scheduled at least a month prior to your initial session, due to the popularity of this service and limited availability. Touchups must be scheduled within 6-8 weeks of the initial/previous session. If you wait to schedule your followup after coming to your first session, and are then unable to get in within this 8-week window, you will be subject to an increase in price. This information is also very clearly communicated at your first Microblading session. We do not guarantee availability or any touchup pricing discussed in the first session if you fail to book your touchup in a timely manner as instructed.
Do not tint your brows for 4 weeks post appointment! They are healing!
Please wait at least 4 weeks before forming any final opinions about your brows. Please see the healing chart below. Your brows are going to go through a series of stages where you may not like them. That is the nature of the healing process. They can look huge, misshapen, completely uneven/asymmetrical, too dark or too light, patchy, etc. So drawing any conclusions about your brows before they have had a chance to fully heal is only going to cause you unnecessary grief. You as the client need to trust the process as well as what the artist has explained to you regarding what to expect. However, I can also do the Pigment removal technique and remove the pigment.
Yes, under the removal technique
Then, you will be charge depending on the work that needs to be done (prices from $160 to $200)
Please feel free to text me or email me, I’ll be happy to answer your questions.
Scabbing can be part of the normal healing process after you get your brows microbladed.
What can freak people out is the fact that when a scab comes off it looks like it takes pigment away with it.
This process leaves a "patchy" appearance to the brows.
🤔Why does scabbing occur?
Scabbing is simply a normal part of the healing process.
Microblading requires me to make a small cut into the skin to the level of the dermal epi-dermal junction.
This is the perfect place to set the pigment for lasting results, but also not deep enough to cause scarring or a permanent tattoo.
You can see by day 9 that most of the scabs have fallen off revealing a lighter brow and color.
By day 12 you can see that the brows have lightened and softened up considerably, but they are no longer patchy.
You can also see that the pigment has retained (about 85%).
This is the normal microblading and scabbing healing process.
Should I pick my scabs?
Absolutely not!😱☝🏻
Under no circumstances should you be picking or pulling at your scabs.
If you pick off your scabs then you may pull out the pigment along with the scab and then you will run the risk of losing all of the hard work you went through with your first visit.
You MUST let your scabs fall off naturally (no matter how gross it may look or feel!).
Your brows WILL look patchy throughout the healing process.
And this is NORMAL.💕
If your brows didn't stick after the initial visit then they will need to be re-applied during your touch up visit.
💐The results depends 50% on me, and 50% on you. Remember that as long as you follow your pre and aftercare instructions, and avoid picking your scabs off, your healing should be PERFECT!!! 🌸💕
Questions? Let me know! I’ll be happy to answer them 💜💜💜💜💜
